Chairman of the Board
Stan Miller has over 25 years’ experience in the start-up, turnaround and running of companies in the both the telecommunication and (pay) TV industries.
He is currently an investor in, and a member of the board of, MTS Russia, Chairman of AINMT, Managing Director of Leaderman N.V. and an advisor to leading consulting and private equity funds in the TMT space globally.
From June 2006 until February 2010, Stan was a member of the board of Royal KPN and CEO of its Mobile International Business. He was also responsible for the M&A division at KPN. He served as Chairman of E-Plus and BASE where he introduced a “Challenger” strategy which changed the business model, creating significant (+€ 7 billion) value for KPN and its shareholders.
Since 2001 Stan has served as Chief Executive Officer of BASE N.V. in Belgium, a company that he successfully launched as KPN - Orange in 1998.
From 2000 to 2001, as Chief Executive Officer of KPN Mobile the Netherlands, Stan implemented a strategy to take the business from “Volume to Value” creating significant value for KPN Mobile.
Prior to Net 1, Stan held several senior management positions at M-Net/MIH (pay) television in South Africa.
Chief Executive Officer
JD Fouchard is the CEO of AINMT Holdings, a position he assumed in June 2011 and is also a member of Access Industries’ Media and Communications team. He played a leading role in the acquisition of AINMT group by Access Industries and has been a board member/director since the acquisition in 2009. He is also a director of O-Zone Networks Pvt. Limited and an alternate director of Perform Group plc and of RGE Group Limited.
JD joined Access in June 2007 from UBS’ Telecom Investment Banking Group where he worked on numerous transactions involving Vodafone (acquisitions / disposals in the Czech Republic, France, India, Japan, Romania, South Africa, Sweden, and Turkey).
Prior to UBS, JD was with Morgan Stanley Capital Partners where he was an Analyst within the European Leverage Buyout Group, a $3.3 billion fund. JD is a dual Haitian / Swiss national fluent in French, English, Spanish, German and Creole. He is a graduate of ESCP-EAP European School of Management and Albert Ludwigs University in Freiburg Germany
Director
Jörg Mohaupt is a director on the board of AINMT Holdings and is also responsible for the media, online and telecom business at Access Industries, which he joined in May 2007. He was previously a Managing Director of Providence Equity Partners and a member of the London-based team responsible for Providence’s European investment activities. Before joining Providence in 2004, he was an executive director at Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers in their TMT groups and co-founded and managed Continuum Group Limited, a communications services venture business.
Jörg has been actively involved in the media and telecommunications sector since 1992 and currently serves on the boards of Perform Group Plc, Warner Music Group, Rebate Networks, Crowdsurge, Mendeley Research Networks, Tory Burch LLC and Acision B.V.
Non-Executive Director
Peter Ekelund has been a general partner in Baker Capital since 2006 and is Chairman of Cellmax Technologies (which develops and sells base stations for mobile networks) and Spirits of Gold AB. He is the driving force behind the launch of Absolut Vodka and the founder of Karlsson´s Vodka. Before joining Baker Capital, Peter was the CEO of venture capital company Novestra, Chairman at Bredbandsbolaget and the CEO of TV-company FilmNet Benelux.
Non-Executive Director
Thomas Harding is a non-executive director on the board of AINMT Holdings. Tom, along with Jörg Mohaupt and JD Fouchard, is a partner in Access Media, as well as heading-up Access’s European legal function. Prior to joining Access, he was a lawyer in Weil, Gotshal and Manges’ London private equity team. Tom has an MA from the University of Cambridge and subsequently studied at City University (law) and London Business School (finance). He is an officer of several Access companies and a trustee of The Blavatnik School of Government Foundation at the University of Oxford
Non-Executive Director
Ingvild Myhre graduated from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She was previously President of the operator Network Norway. Under her leadership, the company grew from a startup to become one of Norway´s largest operators. Ingvild has previously held leading positions at Alcatel Norway, Telenor and Network Norway. Since 2011 she has been preparing for the launch of the mobile operator Chili Mobile, a new Norwegian low cost operator to offer mobile services in Telenor´s network.
Non-Executive Director
Jan Scherman is Vice President of Bonnier Broadcasting. He has worked as a journalist and publicist throughout his career. He is an active debater in the Swedish media. Jan Scherman has been Deputy Managing Director/CEO for Bonnier’s Nordic Broadcasting since December 2011. Before that Jan was CEO of the TV4 Group between 2001 and 2011.
Prior to that he was Program Director of TV4 between 1997 and 2001, but started his TV4 career as a reporter for the current affairs show Cold Facts when TV4 started in 1990, and was Head of the Current Affairs department between 1992 and 1997.
Jan Scherman began his journalistic career at Östgöta Correspondenten (1971), Sveriges Radio (1972) and Sveriges Television (1978), where he was Head of the Aktuellt News department. Jan Scherman received the “Stora Journalistpriset” award in 1989 and the “Stockholm Media Award” in 2008.
